So, David Hewlett has made a flick that I think I’m totally going to have to see.

A Dog’s Breakfast

It does, indeed, look frightfully funny. It has a whole bunch of SG people, including Dr. Beckett, Teal’c and Teyla. His sister also makes an appearance, who I think actually made a cameo on Atlantis, too, as his sister (ironic, eh?). I think I shall most certainly have to get this one. It looks like it’s on iTunes.

So, this weekend was pretty cool. I got caught up on questing for my now 63 mage in WoW. Ruthie and I played some of the WoW card game Friday and Saturday nights. I’m really getting addicted to that game, perhaps even more so than the MMO itself! Hehe.

Cubbies have won a bunch, and are now 1 game above .500 going into the All-Star break. As always, what matters most is that they’re ahead of the Cardinals ๐Ÿ˜›

And now for some laundering. Excitement.

So, I came upon this from /.

iPhone not supported under 64-bit Windows XP or Vista

Pretty dumb, I think, since all Windows versions henceforth will supposedly be 64-bit. 2/3 of my computers are 64-bit processors. Of course, right now I’m running 32-bit Vista on those computers because of all of that driver signing crap.

I think eventually, though, it will be supported. Perhaps they just felt they had to get it out there…Windows being an afterthought, of course, next to OS X.

So, I’ve put together my first Sidebar Gadget for Vista. It’s nothing too spectacular, but it’s merely my first ๐Ÿ™‚ It displays your external network IP address, and also your internal IP address. Useful for gaming, or if I have to change my DNS record with my domain provider (my IP doesn’t change much with Knology over time, maybe once a year). Anyhoo, here’s a screeny:

Not too much going on today. Just another Friday. w00t! Lunch with the pops, as always. Tonight, though, I get to play some more of World of Warcraft: The Trading Card Game. It’s sort of reminiscent of Magic: The Gathering, except instead of Mana you can use any card you want to as a “resource” which pays for spells, allies and items. A very enjoyable game, particularly because of the obvious connections to a really cool MMO ๐Ÿ™‚

My grass is really suffering due to lack of rain-age. On the plus side I haven’t had to cut it in a good long while, and on the down side it’s really crunchy. I’ll have to cut it, anyway, this weekend because hardy weeds have sprung up amongst the hay in a big way. It’s been in the 90s all week. Maybe I’ll wake up at the crack of dawn and do it *SNICKER!!!*

Time to head out. Bleh, I say *YAWN!!!!!*
